Mazda Connected Services is a group of smartphone functionality options that improve your day-to-day by making it easy to start, find, and protect your Mazda model. For example, if you get a new Mazda CX-30, your Mazda Connected Services subscription or free trial will allow you to stop your engine remotely, locate your vehicle in a busy parking lot, or straightforward navigation integration. If you’re understandably worried about any of the Mazda service lights on your dashboard, the vehicle health report on the app can help you set up a service schedule or give you an idea about problems affecting your Mazda model.
It also offers exceptional electrified capability aid. For instance, depending on which of our Mazda CX-70 configurations you prefer, you may have access to remote charge start/stop, charging station search, remote security alert, and remote climate control. From the phone application called “MyMazda,” Connected Services make the beginning and end of any drive navigable with a tap.
To access this variety of assistant software, you’ll have to do the following.
Once your Mazda car or SUV shows in the menu, you can now access remote engine start/stop, vehicle health reports, and more through the menus. However, you may not see everything on all vehicles. For example, only the new Mazda CX-70 and Mazda CX-90 offer remote climate controls.
The Mazda Connected Services app, or MyMazda, is an intuitive program available for most smartphones on the market, such as the iPhone® and any device running the Android OS. By downloading it from the app store and signing up, MyMazda is your central hub for smartphone connectivity. From these menus, you can prepare the engine of any car or SUV in your fleet, check the health status of your new Mazda CX-5, or adjust the service schedule of your pre-owned 2024 Mazda MX-5 Miata.
If you’re suffering from your Mazda Connected Services not working, it is likely due to its connectivity to the MyMazda application. To fix it, try some of the following solutions:
You can expect the most out of Mazda Connected Services. Free trial periods range based on model year but allow you to get multiple years even if you purchase a pre-owned 2024 Mazda3. It also provides non-smartphone benefits to all vehicle owners, including Automatic 911 Dialing, Mazda Roadside Assistance Dialing, and Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto™ functionality. You won’t have to subscribe to this service to give these benefits to your new Mazda CX-50.
Mazda Connected Services provides a wide range of benefits compared to the competition, from safety options like Remote Security Alert to the simple bliss of remote climate controls. It can also help you identify your Mazda service light through service alerts and vehicle health reports. You can learn more about how this suite of features makes your life easier when you visit Gunther Mazda.
Mazda Connected Services works as a personal assistant in most Mazda models. This system has incredible smartphone functionality, including remote engine start, vehicle finder, health and status reports, remote lock and unlock, and much more. It works from your MyMazda phone app once you register a Mazda vehicle with a trial or subscribe to the program, giving you a menu of options and systems.
To enroll in Mazda Connected Services, download the MyMazda smartphone app through the Apple® App Store or Google Play™ Store. You’ll register for a MyMazda account and then follow the on-screen prompts to activate the free trial – or begin subscribing – through your VIN. Once you get through these services, you can begin your trial or benefit from your subscription by using the MyMazda app.
The MyMazda application might not work because of poor network connectivity, as it usually relies on AT&T or Verizon servers to connect. If your app is showing outdated information, you may need to reset your Mazda Connect™ by holding down the volume knob, back button, and NAV button for 10 seconds. Alternatively, in your App Settings, you can clear the storage files of your MyMazda app.
The Mazda Connected Services app, or MyMazda, is updated in a similar fashion to most phone apps. Typically, this is through your smartphone’s application storefront or your profile. From your vehicle, go to the System menu in your Settings, then select “Check for Software Update” and see if you need to update your vehicle. You may toggle to check for software updates from this menu automatically.
Mazda Connected Services are free for one year for 2025 models or three years with Mazda vehicles from 2019 to 2024 or for the 2025 Mazda CX-70. After that point, if you enjoy the remote benefits provided by Mazda Connected Services, you can subscribe for a minor monthly fee and retain access to remote start, remote lock, vehicle finder, and more.
